Any images contained within the website http://www.woodgalaxy-art.com/ are the property of Glories Ltd and or their respective designers and or ateliers and may not be manufactured, reproduced or copied in any way whatsoever without the written formal permission of Glories Ltd. Any finished product based on the original designs will be considered to be the property of Glories ltd and or their respective designers and or ateliers.

Neither the display of goods on the Website or the sending of products to customers via email etc is an offer for sale (in the legal sense) but an invitation for you to make an offer in relation thereto. By submitting an order by clicking “order” you make a contractual offer to us in respect of such goods, which we are free to accept or reject. After submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Wood Galaxy – Art. We are entitled to terminate the contract between us for any reason and at any time up until the commencement of shipping of the products you have ordered.

All contracts entered into through the Website are made directly between the customer and Wood Galaxy – Art.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Wood Galaxy – Art will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Ordering Information.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
  • The identification of a pricing or product description error
  • Not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions

Payment of Purchase Price and Ownership of Goods

On point of purchase Wood Galaxy – Art will take full payment in advance of delivery. For our cancellation and refund policy please see below.

If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by the Wood Galaxy – Art Customer Service team.

We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure in line with our data protection and Privacy Policy.

Contract Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel this contract if you wish to do so, provided you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive your delivery. To exercise your right of cancellation you must give written notice to Wood Galaxy – Art via letter or email with full details of your order. Notification by telephone is not sufficient. If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning your order to Wood Galaxy – Art at your own cost.

Further, you must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or whilst in transit.

Wood Galaxy – Art reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount if we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully re-sellable condition.

Products that fall into the following categories cannot be cancelled or refunded unless they are proven to be faulty:

  • Goods which are handcrafted to order, made to a customer’s own specifications, made to measure or personalised items.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Description of Products

Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.

Furniture Measurements

The dimensions given are written for your guidance. Before ordering, please ensure that there is adequate room to take the furniture through any doorways and windows, taking note of any restricted passageways, stairs and awkward turns. Please refer to our access guidelines for further information. It is your responsibility for ensuring that items you order can be delivered to your property and room of choice, with safe and reasonable access from the public highway to the place of delivery

Payment

All prices for EU countries are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery cost.

For countries outside the European Union – VAT, all taxes and fees are not included and they are the responsibility of the buyers plus delivery cost.

You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Refusal of Transaction

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold, removing or editing any materials or content on the Website, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under Bulgarian law you must:

  • Register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information.
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Stipulate a delivery address in Europe or overseas address validated by our customer service team. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable.
  • Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. Collection/Delivery

Worldwide shipping available

Wood Galaxy – Art normally ships goods a few weeks after a sale event has ended and once its account has been credited with the full invoice amount. Please note that the items are handcrafted to order and production takes time up to 8-9 weeks.

Wood Galaxy – Art has no liability to you in the event that its obligations to ship products to you ceases to exist when, Wood Galaxy – Art, through no fault of its own, does not receive goods in full or on time from suppliers, (provided always that Wood Galaxy – Art has informed customers as soon as reasonably practicable of the failure of its supplier and/or and has not explicitly agreed a separate sourcing risk). In such circumstances any payments made by you will be refunded.

In cases of force majeure (as subsequently described), shipping duration may increase within reason. Force majeure shall include strike, exclusion, official intervention, energy (or resource) scarcity, shipping difficulties, business complications such as fire or water damage to machinery, lightning or any other unforeseeable business complications for which Wood Galaxy – Art cannot be held responsible. Wood Galaxy – Art will inform you of the starting (and ending) point of such shipping impediments as soon as reasonably practicable.

Wood Galaxy – Art asks you to immediately inform the deliverer/carrier and Wood Galaxy – Art about obvious damage to your order during transit. Doing so has no influence on your rights but will help Wood Galaxy – Art to make its own claims against the supplier of goods to Wood Galaxy – Art or our delivery agent.

Where you have not received your order 20 working days for EU country and 40 working days outside EU country after your Shipment Confirmation email, please notify us immediately so we can look into this for you. Failure to notify us your Shipment Confirmation email could result in your order being lost.

We only deliver through a recipients address. If you live in a country outside the European Union, you must first pay all taxes and duties before the actual delivery. We cannot deliver inside  your house or apartment . We sell some large and heavy products that on health and safety grounds require more than a two man delivery. 

How will I know when my order has shipped?

Once an order has been shipped you will be notified by email with tracking number. In certain cases, some orders will be shipped partially which will be made clear on your shipping email.

When can I expect to receive my order?

The estimated lead time for delivery is stated on the product.

What if I have received an incorrect item?

If you have received an incorrect item in your order, please contact our Customer Care team and we will organise a free collection service to pick the item up from you. Wherever possible, we will endeavour to organise a replacement item for you.

Short Delivery, Defective Goods or Damaged Goods

We strongly advise you to thoroughly check your goods upon receipt. To protect your interests, any claim concerning short delivery and/or damaged and/or defective goods found on delivery, or concerning damaged or defective goods found at a later date, must be notified as soon as possible to our Customer Care department email:info@woodgalaxy-art.com

We do not accept any claims for damage caused by you the customer.

Below are some questions to think about before you purchase large furniture items:

  • Is there parking available outside the property?
  • What floor is the item being delivered to?
  • Is there clear access into the room of choice?
  • Is there a lift available?
  • Will there be children or pets on site during delivery?
  • Are there any other restrictions we should be aware of that may impact the delivery?

 

Parking

If your property has parking restrictions, it’s very important that you let us know in advance. If a parking permit is required, this must be arranged by you. Any problems with parking availability which result in a failed delivery or parking ticket, will be chargeable to the customer.

Returns and Refunds

1.You may cancel your order with us in writing/telephone by emailing info@woodgalaxy-art.com at any time up to 14 days after the date of delivery without specific reason.

Where goods have been delivered to you, you must return these goods to us. When you notify us of your cancellation we will inform you how to return the goods to us.

  1. Save to the extent that products you receive are faulty or defective your right to cancel your order in accordance with Section 1. does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods (i) manufactured to your specifications or clearly tailored to your personal needs, or (ii) which are not suitable for return due to their condition – all goods returned must be in a perfect and saleable condition with original product packaging and instructions where appropriate. If the goods do not reach us in a perfect and saleable condition, and in their original packaging, then your right to a full refund may be affected.

If you rightfully exercise your right to cancellation in accordance with Section 1. then Wood Galaxy – Art will refund the price of the product together with the delivery cost, however you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product. We aim to process these refunds as soon as possible but this may take up to 15 days from the date of we have received the returned item and our team has reviewed it for irregularities.

Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction

Returns Procedure for Damaged Furniture Deliveries

CARE & WARRANTIES

General warnings: This product has a porous finishing treatment and it will absorb any spill on it. When using it use a waterproof tablecloth or a coaster to protect from spills, scratches and damages. Changes on temperature and humidity, direct sunlight, serious wetting of the surface, treatment with chemicals, may vary the shape,

coating damage, as well as cracks appear in case of improper handling by the buyer. Clean slowly and carefully with a soft natural cloth without chemical agents. Do not expose the table to direct sunlight. Indoor use only

Natural variations:

We work with natural materials. Each tree has its own pattern and shade of wood. Therefore, there are no completely identical products and colours / the paint that we use /, and patterns may slightly vary.

Variation type: Natural wood grain and/or Colour tone, Light and environment conditions may distort the color perception of the product

Please kindly note that the final product may vary in tone and grain pattern due to the nature of the wood itself. The colour used are our (ateliers) own production and therefore may vary from time to time due to environmental factors such as heat, light, humility, auxiliary shinning materials, so on and so forth. We may therefore be unable to reproduce the same colours perfectly every time.

Variations may occur as we are dealing with a natural material and a made to order piece finished by hand. Please note that the colors you see may be slightly different depending on your monitor settings

The height of the table may vary by approximately 1 cm compared to the indicated dimensions due to the handcrafting and uniqueness of each table.

What happens if I need to change my delivery address?

Please reach out to our Customer Care Team to confirm your new delivery address. They will be able to make the necessary changes and advise on any additional charges that may occur.
